A Executiva Nacional do PT, reunida ontem quinta-feira (14), em Brasília, aprovou as regulamentações dos Encontros Municipais de 2008 (Definição de Tática Eleitoral e Definição de Candidatos), dos Encontros Setoriais do partido (com novas datas e prazos) e o do I Congresso da Juventude Petista, que acontece entre 22 a 25 de maio deste ano.Os itens do Congresso Juventude levados a voto diziam respeito à votação para o comando da secretaria e à possibilidade de os municípios elegerem delegados diretamente à etapa nacional.
Foram aprovadas na CEN as seguintes redações:
a) durante o Congresso só haverá votação das chapas e a eleição dos delegados ocorrerá nas respectivas instâncias de direção (municipal e estadual), eleitas e empossadas após a etapa nacional;
b) as etapas municipais elegerão delegados para a etapa nacional na proporção de 1 (um) delegado nacional para cada 25 (vinte e cinco) filiados credenciados.
